Here's a shot of the polytunnel showing the end that I shortened as well as the patched up plastic. Actual length 3.5metres.
A view from the front. Actual Width 2.1metres. Visible on the inside is one of two poles I had to use to prop up the roof after a heavy snow fall. Those two poles also provided some extra tension to the plastic.
A few inside showing the basic construction method. Angle iron hammered into the ground with agricultural irrigation pipe attached to provide the arch.
Tension on the outside is provided by wrapping the plastic around railway sleepers.
I need to go and have a look at some polycarbonate sheets to understand how, if at all, I can use the old door frame timber in a new construction.
